Contagion: Amazon Prime Video
Contagion, a movie about a pandemic was the most watched movie during the rise of coronavirus.
The movie "Contagion" which dwelled about the spread of a virus and how the medical experts and authorities tries to deal with the deadly virus became the number 1 movie on Amazon and reached iTunes' top 10 list of rentals in the US.
Warner Bros also reportedly stated that it was their second most-watched movie in 2020.

Extraction: Netflix
Netflix's biggest blockbuster "Extraction" starring Chris Hemsworth remains one of the highest viewed movies in Netflix in 2020.
The movie raked in 99 million views in its first four weeks, according to Netflix ratings.
Extraction which was released on April 24, 2020 created a buzz among both the Indian and Bangladeshi fans for its theme based on the two cities.
Directed by Sam Hargrave, Chris Hemsworth's character acts as a black market mercenary who has to rescue the kidnapped son of an Indian drug lord.
Randeep Hooda, Priyanshu Painyuli, Pankaj Tripathi, David Harbour and Golshifteh Farahani stars in pivotal roles.
Extraction received mixed reviews after its release due to its faulty cultural misrepresentation.

Dil Bechara: Disney + Hotstar
Sushant Singh Rajput's last movie "Dil Bechara" broke the IMDB rating when the movie was first released on Disney + Hotstar.
The movie which was released on 24 July, 2020 was watched by 95 million viewers within the first 24 hours of its release.
"Dil Bechara" shows Sushant Singh playing the role of Manny, who is suffering from osteosarcoma while Sanjana Sanghi plays the role of Kizie Basu, who is battling thyroid cancer.
The trailer of "Dil Bechara" also received huge views. The trailer till now has been watched 92 million times by audiences and it was also named the most liked video within 24 hours of release on July 6.

Charlize Theron's action packed movie "The Old Guard" was another fruitful venture for Netflix after the success of Extraction.
The movie earned 78 million views on Netflix and is the streamer's sixth most-watched original film, following Extraction, Bird Box and others.
It is based on the comic book by Greg Rucka and Leandro Fernandez. Directed by Gina Prince- Blythewood, the movie stars Charlize Theron as Andy (or Andromache of Scythia), the leader of an immortal squad of mercenaries.

Enola Holmes: Netflix
The teen mystery Enola Holmes is Netflix's latest highly watched movie amid the pandemic.
The movie stars Millie Bobby Brown as a wild and young Enola Holmes, who is the sister of famous detective Sherlock Holmes.
Enola Holmes, which was released on September 23, was watched by 76 million subscribers in its first four weeks of release.
Based on a series of young adult novels by Nancy Springer, the film introduces a young Enola raised in isolation by her high-spirited mom, Eudoria. One day when Eudoria disappears, Enola has to return to her brothers who then send her to school to get lessons on becoming a proper young lady in the town. She then manages to uncover the mystery behind her mother's disappearance.
