Web series ‘Ekattor’ due for March 26 release
The series, featuring a total of eight episodes will be released on March 26 on Hoichoi.
Streaming platform Hoichoi will release the original web series 'Ekattor' on March 26. The cast of the series includes Iresh Zaker, Nusrat Imroz Tisha, Mostafa, Mostafizur Noor Imran and Rafiath Rashid Mithila. The web series is directed by Tanim Noor.
"I am overwhelmed with the responses I have received so far since the trailer was released," director Tanim Noor said to The Business Standard. "My friends and colleagues in the industry wished me good luck over the phone or inboxed me messages."

"Ekattor" is a complete work of fiction, inspired by the Liberation War. When Tanim Noor was asked how challenging it was to make such a period drama, he replied: "It was very challenging as you know Dhaka city has changed a lot. Constantly it is changing every day. However, We tried to overcome the obstacles and tried to be authentic to that period."
Talking about the cast, the director said, "I am so lucky that most of the cast members are my friends, and when we got to work together, it was really fun as we got to spend more time while working together.
"All of them were very dedicated and sincere. Each of my actors worked hard to portray their characters. They were very helpful," he added.
The first look of the series was unveiled on March 5. The series, featuring a total of eight episodes will be released on March 26 on Hoichoi.
