Boris Johnson unveils the first look of blue passport
The government will start issuing these passports from the end of March
British Prime Minister Boris Jonson unveiled the long awaited blue passport on Friday.
Revealing the new look for the first time, the Prime Minister was seen holding the new travel document on a flight to Newcastle Airport on the day Britain left the EU, reported Daily Mail.
There were some major differences seen with the previous burgundy colored passport which Britain used in accordance with EU.

The text at the top of the front page has been revamped.
Before there was "United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland" written on it. Now, "British Passport" is simply written on it, reported The Daily Express.
Moreover, the text has been shifted down below the logo of the golden crest. Also, the golden crest appears larger.
This is not the first time that Britain is using blue passport. Infect, before merging with the EU passports, Britain had blue passports since 1921. Once again, they are returning to the blue version.
The government will start issuing these passports from the end of March.
