Alliance Finance hosts workshop on sustainable finance
Alliance Finance PLC recently organised a workshop on "Sustainable Finance Strategy and Sustainability Plan" at its head office in Gulshan for employees.
The session focused on balancing financial returns with positive social and environmental impacts, promoting responsible and ethical business practices. It also emphasised the importance of supporting long-term ecological and social balance and governance while conducting business, alongside addressing the role of businesses in mitigating risks associated with climate challenges.
Morshed Millat, a faculty member of the Bangladesh Institute of Bank Management (BIBM) and former director of the Sustainable Finance Department at Bangladesh Bank, conducted the session.
