Snowtex group partners with BDN pallabi diabetes centre for employee health
Snowtex Group, one of Bangladesh's leading export companies, recently held a clinical medical care event in partnership with BDN Pallabi Diabetes Centre to promote the health and well-being of its employees.
The event, which took place at the Snowtex Group corporate office on December 7th, featured free medical consultations, blood sugar tests, and health awareness sessions conducted by experts from BDN Pallabi Diabetes Centre.
Dr Shahjahan Biswas, former Director General of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), was the chief guest. He emphasised the importance of preventive healthcare and lifestyle changes in managing chronic diseases like diabetes. Other distinguished guests included Dr S.M. Akmal Ali Golap, founder of the Bangladesh Diabetic Network (BDN), and Dr Amanullah, advisor at BDN Pallabi Diabetes Centre, who discussed the growing prevalence of diabetes in the country and the significance of regular diabetes check-ups.
Snowtex Group's Deputy Director of Accounts and Finance, Mr. Foyzur Rahman Nuri, and Senior Deputy General Manager of Group Operations, Mr. A.K.M. Mahmudul Hasan Shuvo, were also present at the event. Mr. Mohammad Tasibul Alam Tasib, Chief Human Resources Officer of Snowtex Group, chaired the program and highlighted the company's ongoing efforts to ensure the health and safety of its employees.
