Training on ethical research implementation at BSMMU
Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University (BSMMU), in collaboration with the World Health Organization (WHO), has launched a faculty development training programme on ethical research and its implementation.
This initiative aims to enhance the research capacity of BSMMU faculty members, equipping them with essential knowledge of principles of research ethics, informed consent and protection of participants, ethical challenges in research and Integrating ethics into the research curriculum. This Skill will uphold the highest standards of ethical research.
The training is conducted in small group sessions, each accommodating 20 participants, ensuring personalised attention and interactive learning. All BSMMU faculty members will be covered in a phased manner, with the program scheduled for completion by December 2024.
This collaboration highlights BSMMU' commitment to academic excellence and WHO's dedication to fostering global research ethics.
