Southeast University signs MOU with Emporia State University, USA
Southeast University (SEU) and the School of Business and Technology of Emporia State University, USA, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on 12 December at the SEU conference room.
This partnership marks a significant milestone in fostering international academic collaboration and exchange.
Distinguished representatives from both institutions graced the signing ceremony. Representing Southeast University were Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam, Vice Chancellor; Professor Dr Mofazzal Hossain, Pro Vice-Chancellor; and Professor Dr Hasnat Alamgir, Director of the Institute of Research and Training (IRT). The delegation from Emporia State University, USA, included Dr Will Phillips, Associate Dean of the School of Business and Technology, and Dr Mohammed Sajedur Rahman, Associate Professor.
The MOU facilitates faculty and student exchanges, promotes collaborative research projects, and supports faculty development programs. This initiative underscores SEU's commitment to enhancing global academic engagement and creating knowledge-sharing and innovation opportunities.
Speaking at the event, Professor Dr Yusuf Mahbubul Islam expressed his enthusiasm for the partnership: "This collaboration with Emporia State University opens up new horizons for our faculty and students, enabling them to engage in global academic and research endeavours."
