A fire that broke out at a six-storey residential building in the capital's Banasree tonight (20 December) has been brought under control.
According to the Fire Service and Civil Defence, the fire originated on the third floor of the building around 8:30pm.
Two fire-fighting units from Khilgaon Fire Station brought the blaze under control within an hour.
No casualties have been reported so far.
