Police Academy serves show cause notices to 8 ASIs in Sarda for breaching discipline
Authorities have served show cause notices to eight additional sub-inspectors (ASIs) over indiscipline during training classes at the Bangladesh Police Academy in Rajshahi's Sarda.
The notices were handed to them this evening and they were asked to submit an explanation within three days.
The notice was signed by the academy's Superintendent of Police Md Tanveer Saleheen Imon, on behalf of Principal Masudur Rahman Bhuiyan.
Previously, the academy issued show cause notices to 313 SIs in three phases due to allegations of misconduct both in the field and during classes. These individuals have already been dismissed from their jobs.
The 40th Cadet SI batch, which underwent training at the academy, had a total of 823 SIs. They started their basic training on 4 November last year.
According to regulations, their training was supposed to conclude on 4 November of this year, and they were scheduled to join various police units.
