Islami bank holds board meeting
The Board of Directors of Islami Bank Bangladesh PLC convened a meeting on Sunday, December 29, 2024, at Islami Bank Tower. The meeting was presided over by the bank's Chairman, Obayed Ullah Al Masud.
Key attendees included Md. Abdul Jalil, Chairman of the Executive Committee; Professor Dr. M. Masud Rahman, Chairman of the Risk Management Committee; Md. Abdus Salam, FCA, FCS, Chairman of the Audit Committee; and Mohammad Khurshid Wahab, Independent Director.
Also present were Mohammed Monirul Moula, Managing Director; Prof. Dr. Mohammad Abdus Samad, Member Secretary of the Shari'ah Supervisory Committee; and Additional Managing Directors Md. Omar Faruk Khan, Md. Altaf Hossain, and Mohammad Jamal Uddin Mazumder. The meeting was coordinated by Mohammad Jahangir Alam, Company Secretary (Current Charge).
