As the nation's greatest opener steps away, many teammates have expressed heartfelt tributes. Mushfiqur Rahim shared his pride in Tamim's achievements.

Despite a faint glimmer of hope, Tamim Iqbal has officially bid farewell to international cricket. Following two rounds of discussions, the veteran opener requested time from the BCB selectors to confirm his final decision.

On Friday night, he announced via social media that his chapter in international cricket had ended, and he would no longer play for Bangladesh.

The departure of the greatest opener in the nation's history prompted emotional reactions from many teammates.
