Eastland Insurance holds 38th annual general meeting
The 38th Annual Branch Managers' Conference-2025 of Eastland Insurance PLC was held on Monday, January 20, 2025, at DCCI Auditorium, Motijheel, Dhaka.
Mr Mahbubur Rahman, Chairman of the Company, inaugurated the Annual Conference. Distinguished Vice Chairman -
Mr Rizwan Rahman and Members of the Board, Mr Kamal Uddin Ahmed and Mr Md. Tysir Khan attended the Conference and delivered valuable speeches. Mr Mohammed Salim, the Chief Executive Officer, presented an analytical report on the company's yearly business.

The Chairman expressed gratitude to the Almighty Allah, whose divine blessings helped the Company to achieve 84% of the Business target set for the year 2024 amid the global economic recession, along with the consequence faced by the world for abnormal price hikes of all essentials and financial losses of the world economy. He appreciated the management team, including all Executives & Employees of the Company, for rendering best efforts for business promotion during these tough times. He also enjoyed all for achieving a `AAA' Credit Rating in 2024.
The Chairman further expressed his expectation that the Executives and Employees will jointly continue their efforts to earn the Company's business in the coming days. The Chairman also stated that Eastland Insurance PLC has passed 38 years of successful operation and has since attained the height of sound financial strength and enviable goodwill.
Mr Shahid E-Monzoor Morshed, Addl. MD and Head of Khulna Zone, Mr Md Shafiul Alam, Additional MD, the Head of the Motijheel Branch, and other senior executives of the company also attended the conference and gave their speeches.
