Panasonic rolls out locally made KU series inverter AC line-up in Bangladesh

Panasonic, one of the leading diversified technology companies with over 65 years of experience in air conditioning, has introduced its locally manufactured inverter AC line-up—the KU series—in Bangladesh today (21 January).
The new models, customised to meet local needs, are available in 1.0, 1.5, and 2.0-ton variants. Alongside the KU series, customers can choose from a wide range of models, including the WU and HU series. All models are now available at authorised Panasonic retail outlets across Bangladesh, reads a press release.
The Made-in-Bangladesh KU series was launched in the presence of Fumiyasu Fujimori, managing director of Panasonic Marketing India (PLSIND), Saarc, along with Bhupendra Bhardwaj, senior general manager, PLSIND, and Sunil Batra, managing director of Media Matrix-GBES.
Fumiyasu Fujimori stated, "Bangladesh is a strategic market for Panasonic in the South Asia region. Our new range of air conditioners has been developed based on consumer feedback and is designed to suit local environmental conditions."
Commenting on the launch, Bhupendra Bhardwaj said, "We have been a committed partner to Bangladesh for decades, contributing beyond basic cooling needs to address consumer demands for indoor air hygiene, efficiency, and technological integration."
The new series boasts advanced features such as the MirAle IoT-enabled connected platform, True AI for optimal comfort cooling with automatic adjustments, personalised sleep profiles, and Converti7, an energy-saving feature. Other innovations include Shield Blu+ technology, designed to withstand harsh weather, and Crystal Clean for enhanced cooling performance and energy efficiency.
