Abdul Mannan appointed Deputy Managing Director of MTB

Abdul Mannan has been promoted to the position of Deputy Managing Director (DMD) of Mutual Trust Bank PLC (MTB), effective from January 1, 2025.

Prior to his promotion, Mannan served as Senior Executive Vice President and Head of the Branch Banking Division. Over his 17 years with MTB, he has showcased exceptional leadership and operational acumen, successfully managing three major branches: Dhanmondi, Gulshan, and Panthapath.

Mannan brings a wealth of experience from his 36-year banking career, which began at NCC Bank PLC. His expertise spans several critical areas, including Branch Banking, Commercial Banking, Financial Institutions, SME, and Retail Business, alongside in-depth knowledge of Recovery, Foreign Exchange, and General Banking.

An alumnus of the University of Dhaka, Mannan holds a BSc (Honors) and an MSc. He has participated in numerous local and international training programs, workshops, and seminars throughout his career. Additionally, he frequently serves as a guest lecturer on banking-related topics at various training institutes and academies.
