Lady Gaga finally speaks about 'Joker: Folie à Deux' backlash
Lady Gaga has finally addressed the backlash surrounding 'Joker: Folie à Deux', the sequel to 2019's 'Joker', which underperformed at the box office and received seven Razzie nominations.
Speaking to Elle magazine, Gaga said, "People just sometimes don't like some things. It's that simple."
She continues, "And I think, to be an artist, you have to be willing for people to sometimes not like it. And you keep going even if something didn't connect in the way that you intended."
While comedian Tim Dillon called the film "the worst ever made," director Quentin Tarantino praised Joaquin Phoenix's performance as "one of the best ever."
Gaga also announced her new album 'Mayhem', set for release on 7 March, describing it as a return to her pop roots.
