Coldplay’s Music of the Spheres beats Taylor Swift’s Eras
Coldplay's 'Music of the Spheres World Tour' has officially become the highest-attended music tour in history, surpassing Taylor Swift's 'Eras Tour' with over 10.3 million tickets sold—while still having eight months of touring left. However, Eras Tour still remains the highest-grossing tour at $2.07 billion.
On 25-26 January, Coldplay performed the largest stadium show of the 21st century in Ahmedabad, India, drawing over 223,000 fans across two nights. The tour, which began in Costa Rica in March 2022, will continue in April in Hong Kong and Seoul before heading to the US
Coldplay described live performances as their core purpose, expressing excitement about sharing music from across their career. If the tour surpasses Eras Tour in revenue by September, it could become the highest-grossing tour of all time, cementing its place in music history.
