Old India-Pakistan rivalry drives South Asia diplomatic reshuffle
Is the India-Pakistan rivalry over Bangladesh and Afghanistan changing course? It seems so, given the circumstances. On the one hand, India is trying to strengthen ties with the Taliban government in Afghanistan; on the other hand, Pakistan is building friendship with the new leadership of Bangladesh after the July-August revolution.
