Ex-minister Mosharraf Hossain hospitalised from Chattogram jail

Former minister of Housing and Public Works Mosharraf Hossain has been admitted to Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) after experiencing respiratory issues.
He was transferred from Chattogram Central Jail around 11am today (5 February).
Senior Jail Superintendent Md Iqbal Hossain confirmed the matter to The Business Standard, stating, "Initially, he received primary treatment inside the prison, but as his condition persisted, he was shifted to CMCH for further medical attention. After his treatment, he will be brought back to jail."
Mosharraf was arrested in Dhaka on 27 October last year following the government's fall on 5 August.
On 15 January, three senior judicial magistrates in Chattogram ordered his arrest in connection with eight cases after hearings on three police petitions.
