Dhaka district receives lion's share of remittances in H1 FY25

Remittance inflows rose by 27.56% to $13.8 billion in Jul–Dec FY25 compared to $10.8 billion in the same period of the previous fiscal year. Dhaka Division alone accounted for 48.34% of the total remittances, while Rangpur Division received only 1.60%.
