DMP files 1,906 cases for violating traffic rules
The Traffic Division of the Dhaka Metropolitan Police (DMP) has filed 1,906 cases in a single day across the capital for violating traffic rules.
A media release of the DMP today said that they filed those cases and realized the money on February 11 through their regular drives against the traffic rule breakers.
A total of 181 motor vehicles were impounded and 63 others towed during the campaign, said Talebur Rahman, deputy commissioner (Media and Public Relations Division) of the DMP.

"The drives will continue to ensure discipline on the city streets," the release said.
