Assistant professor of Kushtia Medical College dies from Covid-19
On July 13, another physician, Shams Shaila (Lovely), assistant professor at the Department of Gynecology in Shaheed Zia Medical College in Bogura, died from the novel coronavirus
Dr ASM Nooruddin Rumi, assistant professor of Kushtia Medical College, died from the novel coronavirus on early Friday while undergoing treatment at Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Medical University Hospital.
A total of 66 physicians, including Dr Rumi, have died from Covid-19 infection in Bangladesh, Dr Rahat Anwer Choudhury, joint secretary of the Foundation for Doctors' Safety, Rights and Responsibilities, has confirmed the matter.
On July 13, Shams Shaila (Lovely), assistant professor at the Department of Gynecology in Shaheed Zia Medical College in Bogura, died on the way to Dhaka by air ambulance after being infected with Covid-19.
