2 drug dealers killed in ‘shootout’ in capital
A RAB member also got injured in the gunfight
Two drug dealers have been killed in a gunfight between the Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), terrorists and drug dealers in the capital's Diabari area.
One member of RAB also got injured in the shootout, said Major Roisul Azam Moni of RAB headquarters on Friday.
He said, "Based on secret information, we conducted an operation. The drug dealers started shooting when we reached there."
"The bodies of two drug dealers were found lying on the spot when we fired back in self-defence. The rest fled the scene," added Major Roisul.
Two foreign pistols, ammunitions, a large quantity of yaba and a motorcycle used for transporting the pills were later recovered from the spot.
