Ten stranded Bangladeshis return from the Philippines
Ten Bangladeshis who were stranded in the Philippines returned to Bangladesh today on a special Philippines Airlines flight.
This is the second group of Bangladeshis, who were stuck there due to Covid restrictions, to return from the Philippines. A group of 23 Bangladeshis returned from the Philippines earlier in June.
The Filipino embassy in Dhaka arranged the special flight in response to requests from the Bangladesh foreign ministry and the Bangladesh embassy in the Philippines.
