3 killed, 2 missing in Manikganj boat sinking
The deceased had been going to visit their sister's house in Charpara village
Three people, including a brother and two of his sisters, were killed when their boat sank in Manikganj. Two children are still missing.
The incident took place at Mandatta pond in Daulatpur upazila around 2pm on Tuesday. The deceased are Hanufa, 37, her sister Rokhsana, 30, and brother Riazul, 25.
Awlad Hossain, a local businessman, said the boat sank during a storm at Mandatta Bill. The boatman Monir and Hanufa's husband Abdul Haque were rescued.

Hanufa's daughter Mithila, 12, and Rokhsana's son Shanto, 11, are still missing, he added.
He added that the victims were from Abudanga village in Jeonpur village of Bari upazila. They were going to visit their sister's house in Charpara village.
Daulatpur Police Officer-in-Charge (Investigation) Hasmat Ali confirmed the incident and said Fire Service divers are still searching for the missing children.
