Four colleges to hold virtual tests for Class XI admission
The examinees will sit for admission tests with smart phones or laptops
Higher secondary level educational institutions will admit students to class XI under the 2020-21 academic sessions based on the Secondary School Certificate exam results. But four educational institutions - run by Christian missionaries- will take virtual admission tests.
The institutions are: Notre Dame College, Holy Cross College, Saint Joseph High School and Saint Gregory High School and College.
Earlier on July 28, the Dhaka Education Board issued a circular and asked the aforesaid colleges to take virtual admission tests. It also asked the colleges to submit the documents of the students by August 30 to the education board.
The aspirants will sit for admission tests with smart phones or laptops. No irregularities will be accepted during the examinations. The colleges will expel examinees if they find any irregularities.
Meanwhile, sources at Notre Dame College said, it has started receiving applications from admission seekers for the admission test. The date for the admission test will be announced on August 16.
The college will admit students for both Bangla and English versions. As many as 1,780 seats in the Bangla version and 300 in the English version are available in the college.
