Foreign minister AK Abdul Momen has wished early recovery of former Indian President Pranab Mukherjee from Covid-19.
In a message sent to Pranab Mukherjee's office, Abdul Momen mentioned that Pranab Mukherjee is a true friend of Bangladesh.
"I had the opportunity to meet him when he was the state minister for the commerce of India in 1973-74. Recently, I went to his official residence and requested him to visit Bangladesh to participate in the birth centenary celebrations of Bangabandhu. I hope he will recover soon and visit Bangladesh," he added.
