Aminul Hasan, who was recently made an officer on special duty (OSD) over the Regent Hospital scam, has been appointed as the principal of the Institute of Health Technology, Dhaka.
The Health Services Division under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare issued a gazette notification in this regard on Sunday.
Aminul was asked to join his new workplace within three working days, the notification said.

On July 21, Aminul, who was working as the director (hospitals and clinics) of the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS), was made an OSD.
