Ant-Man 3 set for a probable release date in 2022

Marvel Studios might be targeting a 2022 release for Ant-Man 3.
Ant-Man was expecting the third installment in the series before the pandemic hit. Now even phase 4 of the film seem highly unlikely to release anytime soon. But director Peyton Reed has given some hope to the fans.
In an interview with Yahoo, Reed spoke about the project. However, he didn't clearly state the release date. But Yahoo reports, "It's currently planned for a 2022 release".

The uncertainty could also see it pushed to 2023, as other Marvel projects like Black Widow are still waiting for a green-light just for the release.
Production delays also make it difficult to know if other Marvel films, Eternals or Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings will be ready for early 2021 releases
Ant-Man 3 could finish production by the end of 2022. However, with a potential reshuffling of Marvel's phase 4, its official release could be delayed until 2023.
Nonetheless, fans and those involved with the project are hopeful about a 2022 release; the year could be the busiest year for the Marvel cinematic universe if that's the case.
