Indian record label Saregama releases classical song rendition by Bangladeshi artistes
Shishir Ahmed features Masha Islam in a classical song.
Shishir Ahmed, lead guitarist of the band Aurthohin, have featured singer Masha Islam in "Ja Re Jare Ure Jare Pakhi," a classical song. The new rendition of the song has been released by Saregama, a renowned Indian music label.
The original song was composed and penned by Salil Chowdhury and sung by Lata Mangeshkar. The new version was re arranged by Shishir himself.
"It was a great pleasure to rearrange a new version of this classic song. Masha is a talented singer and she was also very happy to lend her voice," Shishir said to The Business Standard.
