Bangladesh Embassy in Bahrain hosts web seminar between Lulu group and Bangladeshi exporters

The Bangladesh Embassy in Bahrain hosted a web seminar between Lulu Hypermarket, a leading chain supermarket in the Middle East, and Bangladesh's top exporters on Tuesday.
The Bangladesh ambassador to Bahrain Dr Muhammad Nazrul Islam presided over the meeting. Chief Guest at the event was AHM Ahsan, Vice Chairman of Export Promotion Bureau (EPB), according to an issued press release.
Director of Lulu Hypermarket Bahrain, Juzer Rupawala, was the Special Guest at the web seminar. Joint Secretary of the Ministry of Commerce, Md Abdur Rahim Khan, also participated in the inaugural session.
During the inaugural session of the event, Dr Nazrul expressed his plans to develop Bangladesh's bilateral business relations with Bahrain and assured all possible cooperation from the Embassy.
Juzer Rupawala expressed interest in importing quality products from Bangladesh in the web seminar, according to the press release.
Chief Guest at the event and Vice Chairman of EPB, AHM Ahsan, described Bahrain's market as the gateway to the Middle East and expressed hope that Bangladeshi products would soon occupy a special place in the Bahraini market.
PowerPoint and video presentations by Pran Agro, Square Food & Agro, Shinepukur Ceramics, Apex Footwear, Walton Electronics, RFL Group and other participating companies aimed to generate interest in the Bangladeshi products, the press release reads.
On behalf of Lulu Group, Maahesh, Chief Procurement Officer, and Razzak, Import Manager thanked the Bangladeshi participants for their informative presentations and expressed interest in importing quality products through embassy mediation.
Director of Lulu Hypermarket, Juzer Rupawala, expressed hope in being able to import various products from Bangladesh in the near future, the press release said.
