‘Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’ season 6 arrives
The season not only brings new maps, guns, and characters but also many new game modes
Call of Duty: Warzone and Modern Warfare's multiplayer season 6 has arrived, bringing with it a subway system that should make navigating the map a lot easier. But the Verdansk Metro isn't the only new feature of this patch. It adds new weapons, and a few balance changes to shake up the metagame.
This season also comes with two new guns for players to try out. The first is a new marksman rifle called the SP-R 208. The other new weapon is the AS Val rifle, which is strong over medium to short range and comes with a built-in suppressor.
The season not only brings new maps, guns, and characters but also many new game modes. Additionally, the mid-season update will also bring a Halloween themed game mode.
For PC players, the update is quite massive with a whooping 57GB for those who own the full version of Modern Warfare. Warzone-only players are required to download 25.5GB of data. Console players will have considerably less to download – 19.3GB on PlayStation 4 and 22.66GB on Xbox One. On both PS4 and Xbox One, owners of the full version of Modern Warfare will also have to download the Compatibility Pack to access Multiplayer and Special Ops, and the Survival Pack to access Survival.
