Modhumoti Bank signs agreement with SLIC
The signing ceremony took place at Modhumoti Banks’ head office in Gulshan
Modhumoti Bank Limited has recently signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Sandhani Life Insurance Company Limited (SLIC).
Md Shafiul Azam, managing director and CEO of Modhumoti Bank and Nimai Kumar Saha, CEO of SLIC signed the MoU on behalf of their respective organisations, according to a press release issued by SLIC on Monday.
The signing ceremony took place at Modhumoti Banks' head office in Gulshan, Dhaka.

Under the agreement, SLIC customers may deposit their insurance premiums at Modhumoti Bank's branches, sub-branches and other banking channels. Also, SLIC will offer life insurance to interested customers of Modhumoti Bank.
Kazi Ahsan Khalil, deputy managing director (DMD) and chief business officer, Modhumoti Bank; Md Shahin Hawladar, head of corporate and investment banking department of the bank; Idris Mia Talukdar, additional managing director, SLIC; and Rafik Ahmed, DMD and CFO, SLIC, were also present during the occasion.
