Supernatural’s Jensen Ackles feels ‘uneasy’ about the season finale

One of the show's stars, Jensen Ackles who plays Dean Winchester, revealed that he felt "uneasy" about the show coming to an end after he visited the writers' room in LA with his co-star Jared Padalecki, (Sam Winchester), reports Entertainment Weekly.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Weekly, Jensen said, "Yeah, so, during the hiatus between season 14 and 15, Jared and I went out to LA and sat down in the writers' room, which I think is the first time we have ever done that."
The actor also added that the experience was not like a brainstorming session but rather about sitting down and listening to the writers.
"It was like, this is what we have, take it or leave it," he said.
"And I just walked out of there kind of uneasy. I do not know if it was just the fact that I just heard the ending of a show that had been going for 15 years and I am just too close to it to really accept a finality to it."
Jensen Ackles said that the end of the series was hard to accept and that he struggled with the thought of saying goodbye.
Over a year ago, he had an eye-opening conversation with the creator of "Supernatural," Eric Kripke.
Created by Eric Kripke, Supernatural's pilot aired in September of 2005 on WB, starring Jared Padalecki as Sam Winchester and Jensen Ackles as Dean Winchester.
The series followed the two brothers as they hunted demons, ghosts, monsters, and other supernatural beings.
