Army chief honours 123 army men
The awards will inspire other members of the Army to fulfill their duties for the Armed Forces and the nation, said the Army Chief
Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed has awarded medals to 123 army members, who received Peace Medals in 2019/ 2020 for various commendable and heroic deeds.
The event was held on Monday at the Senasadar Helmet Auditorium in Dhaka Cantonment on the occasion of Armed Forces Day 2020, according to a press release.
At the start of the ceremony, an overview was provided of the accomplishments of the Peace Medal recipients.

Paying due respect to the Father of the Nation Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman, General Aziz Ahmed, "This medal will inspire other members of the Army to fulfill their duties for the Armed Forces and the nation."
It is worth noting that the Prime Minister awarded the Army Medal to General Aziz on 21 November, in recognition of his efficient management and exemplary leadership, and for his outstanding contribution to various tasks of national significance.
