Abrar murder: Tanvir confesses to his part
Tanvir was put on a three-day fresh remand over the gruesome murder on Thursday
Khandaker Tabakhkharul Islam Tanvir, accused in Buet student Abrar Fahad murder case, confessed before a court on Sunday to his involvement in the murder.
Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Sadbir Yasir Ahsan recorded the confessional statement of Tanvir, expelled activist of Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology (Buet) unit BCL. The court also sent him to jail.
On Thursday, Tanvir, a student of mechanical engineering department of batch-17 of Buet, was put on a three-day fresh remand over the gruesome murder. Previously, Tanvir was put on a five-day remand on October 8.
Abrar, a second-year student of electrical and electronic engineering department of Buet was beaten to death allegedly by some Chhatra League men at a dormitory of the university in early hours of october 7.
