Winners of 19th Dhaka Int’l Film Festival announced
Swiss film ‘Tambour Battant’ (Roll the Drum) will be screened at the closing ceremony
The 19th edition of Dhaka International Film Festival (DIFF) will conclude today with the award-giving ceremony at 8pm in Dhaka Club's Swimming pool area.
The festival which took place from 16 to 24 January showcased 227 films from 73 countries across the globe, according to a press release.
The festival had 10 competitive categories including "Asian Cinema Section", "Retrospective", "Bangladesh Panorama Section", "Cinema of the World Section", "Children Films Section", "Women Filmmakers Section", "Short and Independent Films Section" and "Spiritual Films Section"
Swiss film 'Tambour Battant' (Roll the Drum) directed by François-Christophe Marzal will be screened at the closing ceremony of the festival.
DIFF released the names of the winners through a press release and they are:
