Monno Agro’s potato digger machine on trial run in Bogura

Monno Agro and General Machinery Ltd of Monno Group on Tuesday conducted a field test of the BARI Potato Digger machine they manufactured.
The trial took place on the research grounds of the Tuber Crops Research Sub-Centre of Bangladesh Agricultural Research Institute (BARI) in Bogura's Seujgari, read a press release.
Scientific officials of Tuber Crops Research Sub-Center of BARI, dealers of the Rajshahi and Rangpur divisions of Monno Agro and General Machinery Ltd as well as representatives of local media were present to observe the field test.

Monno Agro was represented at the event by Engineer A B M Abdul Alim, executive director (Operations) and Engineer Kundan Sharma, head of production.
Other experts – including agriculturist Md Dulal Hossain, deputy director, Department of Agricultural Extension, Khamarbari, Bogura; Agriculturist Md Abdur Rahim, deputy director, Department of Agricultural Extension, Horticulture Center; Dr Md. Zulfiqar Haider, chief scientific officer and in-charge, Tuber Crops Research Sub-Center – were also present during the occasion.
