Army chief to go on official visit to China
General Aziz will meet with leaders of the Chinese Olympic committee and visit a number of military and civil infrastructures and research organisations
Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed will leave Dhaka for China on Monday on a four-day official visit.
During his visit, the Army chief will call on Chinese Defence Minister, commanders of Peoples' Liberation Army Ground Force and other high officials at the Chinses armed forces, said a press release issued by the Inter-Services Public Relations on Sunday.
He will also observe a special training programme of the Chinese army.
Besides, General Aziz will meet with leaders of the Chinese Olympic committee and visit a number of military and civil infrastructures and research organisations.
The Bangladesh Army chief will return home on November 9.
