FBCCI, CACCI hold workshop on short-term trade finance and international trade
The workshop highlighted the activities of exporters, importers, banks, insurance companies, etc
Some 24 representatives from different banks and industrial organisations attended a workshop titled "Short-Term Trade Finance & International Trade" on November 2.
Inaugurated by Md Rejaul Karim Rejnu, vice-president of Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce & Industries, it focused on aspects of a standard contract of sale, proper choice, specification of payment and delivery terms, etc.
The workshop highlighted the activities of exporters, importers, banks, insurance companies, etc. in order to help the attendees be proficient of them in their everyday use.
The two-day workshop, jointly held by FBCCI and the Confederation of Asia-Pacific Chambers of Commerce and Industry (CACCI), was conducted by Pavel Andrle, secretary of Banking Commission of ICC Czech Republic & Commission on
Commercial law and Practice. Participants shared their experiences of the obstacles they face to run their international businesses.
Certificates were distributed among the participants on completion of the workshop.
