Court orders to exhume Abrar’s body
Court asked police to submit a report on December 1
A Dhaka court has ordered to exhume the body of student Nayeemul Abrar Rahat, who died after being electrocuted during an event of Kishor Alo at Dhaka Residential Model College.
Metropolitan Magistrate Aminul Haque also asked police to submit a report on December 1 after investigating into two cases. One of the cases were filed with Mohammad police station earlier and another was filed today with the court.
Abrar's father Mujibur Rahman filed the case against Prothom Alo Editor Matiur Rahman bringing allegation of negligence leading to death of his son.
Abrar was a ninth-grader at the prominent educational institute and died after being electrocuted during an event of Kishor Alo, a supplement of Prothom Alo for young readers, on November 1.
