Sany to facilitate construction equipment in Bangladesh

With the latest impetus on the Infrastructure Development Fund fostered by Bangladesh government, Sany India is planning to scale up its presence in the construction equipment market with an aim to boost the country's development.

Nearly 25 Sany's tower cranes have been put to use at the construction site of Rooppur nuclear power plant, the first nuclear power plant project of Bangladesh. Sany has set up three units of batching plants, which is the biggest in the country at Dhaka Airport 3rd terminal project.

Sany's state-of-the-art equipment can be prominently seen in almost all major ongoing projects in the country, like Bangladesh Dhaka Metro Railway Project, Dhaka Elevated Expressway Project, BRT Road Project, Purbachal Road Project, Payra Sea Port, Cross Border Road Project, Agartala-Akhaura Rail Link, Rampal Power Plant etc.

As a globally renowned company known for their topnotch construction equipment, Sany has been playing a pivotal role in Bangladesh's infrastructure development, said in a press release.

Sany which has a state-of-the-art manufacturing plant in Pune, India has been a key exporter of construction equipment to Bangladesh. With the significant rise of construction equipment demand in Bangladesh, the market experts are expecting to receive major push towards Indian government's "Made in India" initiative.
