Bangladesh off to a flyer as Liton survives double scare
Bangladesh are 59-0 after seven overs.
Bangladesh are off to a great start at Rajkot as the Tigers have scored 59-0 after seven overs.
Openers Liton Das and Naim Sheikh have displayed a great show of shot play as both of them are unbeaten on 29.
Liton was stumped off Chahal in the third ball of the sixth over, but Indian wicketkeeper Rishabh Pant collected the ball ahead of the stumps and thus the delivery was adjudged a no-ball and Liton survived.
Liton then added insult to India's injury when he struck consecutive boundaries in the next two deliveries.
Liton again survived in the next over as Rohit Sharma dropped an easy catch after Liton had skied a Washington Sundar delivery.
Earlier, India won the toss and their skipper Rohit Sharma invited Bangladesh to bat first.
Both sides have gone with the same eleven in this match.
Bangladesh beat India by seven wickets in the first match at Delhi to lead the series by 1-0.
