Hefazat threatens tough movement if alem-ulema are arrested

Leaders Hefazat-e-Islam on Friday said they will wage a tough movement if any of alem-ulama is arrested by law enforces in connection with the violence during protests over Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to Bangladesh.
They were addressing a demonstration organised by the Brahmanbaria unit Hefazat on TA Road of the district town on Friday afternoon.
The demonstration was held in demand of justice for the deaths of their activities during the anti-Modi movement from 26 to 28 March in different parts across the country.

Brahmanbaria Unit Hefazat-e-Islam General Secretary Mufti Mubarak Ullah presided over the programme while it central Nayeb-e-Amir Sajidur Rahman, district unit leader Borhan Uddin Qasemi, Ali Azam, Earshadullah, Junayed Qasemi and Noman Al Habib spoke at the programme.
As of Friday, 19 cases have been filed against over 20,000 unknown people after the mayhem in Brahmanbaria during Modi's visit to the country.
