Indian High Commission extends deadline for applying ICCR scholarships

The Indian High Commission in Dhaka announced that due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis the application deadline for the Indian Council for Cultural Relations (ICCR) Scholarship for the 2021-22 academic session for Bangladeshi students has been extended by one more month.
Students can apply online for this scholarship, according to a press release issued by the Indian High Commission in Dhaka.
Bangladeshi students will get scholarships for undergraduate, postgraduate and PhD in Indian universities. However, apart from medicine, paramedical and fashion courses. The last day to apply for the ICCR scholarship was April 30. The application time has been extended by one month due to the ongoing Covid-19 crisis.
Candidates interested in applying for ICCR Scholarship should apply by logging on to this link http://a2ascholarsships.iccr.gov.in. Applicants must be between 18 and 30 years of age.
Qualification for Application
Candidates applying for BE-BTech should have Physics, Mathematics and Chemistry in the syllabus of class XI and XII. Students must stay in the hostel after admission. Each student can apply to five universities and institutes. Students must write essays in English in 500 words to test their English proficiency.
Students can also submit their TOEFL-IELTS score to determine their English proficiency. But TOEFL-IELTS is not mandatory for these courses. To apply, students need to upload secondary and higher secondary number sheets. If the application does not have the required documents in English, it has to be submitted only after translating it into English. Applications without translated documents will not be accepted.
