Vision launches Google authorised television
The television has 1 GB Ram and 8 GB Rom and Android 9.0 operating system
Vision Electronics, a leading electronics brand in the country, has introduced Google authorised android television for the first time as a local brand.
RN Paul, managing director of RFL Group, inaugurated the television at a programme held at the RFL headquarters in the capital on Sunday, said a media statement.
The Google authorised android television's own operating system and its accompanying Play Store applications will automatically be updated and viewers will be able to enjoy the official features of android using this television.
The key difference between authorised and unauthorised android is that the television with unauthorised android operating system loses all functionality of its applications within a short period of time and the update stops.
Consequently, customers cannot enjoy the pleasure of the original application.
A 32-inch Vision Smart LED TV, approved by Google, has 1 GB Ram and 8 GB Rom and Android 9.0 operating system. Customers will get the option of voice search which can be done by pressing a button on the remote as the TV is supported by the Google Assistant.
Addressing the programme, RN Paul said, "Our local brand vision has achieved customer confidence because of its outstanding quality. We always try to introduce quality electronic products with the latest technology keeping in mind the demand of customers."
"We hope the TV with modern features will get popularity among customers," he added.
Currently, two models of 32 inch Google Authorised Vision Android TV are available in the market, with a maximum retail price of Tk27,500. The TV is available across the country through Vision Emporium and authorised dealers.
Customers can also place orders through othoba.com and the RFL call center contacting the number 08007777777.
Mohammad Mumim, operation manager of Vision Electronics and Shaikh Mahabubur Rahman, its brand manager were present at the event among others.
