"In between the Bangladeshi film industry condition was deteriorating for worse so I decided to lean more towards dramas and telefilms. In true sense, I have hardly found much work that has given me full satisfaction. Maybe 4-5 dramas would really touch my heart and "Moronottom" is one of them," the actor added.
Apart from Ilyas Kanchan, the telefilm also stars Imtiaz Barshan, Shahiduzzaman Selim, Mahima and many more in pivotal roles.
Director Sanjay Samaddar gave a brief insight into the plot of "Moronottom". He said that the story focuses on the greater goods that are able to achieve through the sacrifices of the common people.
"Hopefully this telefilm will be able to entertain and enliven the audience about the morality of the story. The story of a teacher, a poet, group of powerful people in the society and a suicide story have been intrinsically woven together in the plot."
The telefilm is an initiative of Bongo BD "Based on Books" project and the telefilm will air this Eid-Ul-Fitr.
