Thailand suspends visa service for Bangladeshis
The restrictions will come into effect from Monday and remain in force until further notice
Citing the deteriorating pandemic situation in South Asia, Thailand has suspended visas for Bangladeshis, and nationals from two other countries including Nepal and Pakistan.
The Thai Centre for Covid-19 Situation Administration (CCSA) imposed the new restrictions on Monday, suspending the issuance of new visas and Certificates of Entry (COE) in these three South Asian nations.
The restrictions will come into effect from Monday and remain in force until further notice, according to an announcement of the Royal Thai Embassy in Dhaka.
However, travelers who have already been issued CEOs and with valid visas may travel and arrive in Thailand by 15 May, it added.
