Another injured during student movement sent to Thailand for advanced treatment

Mohammad Murad Islam, who was critically injured by gunfire during the Anti-Discrimination Student Movement, has been flown to Thailand's Vejthani Hospital for advanced treatment under the initiative of the interim government.
He departed from Dhaka's Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport via Biman Bangladesh Airlines flight at 11:30am today (20 November), according to a press release from Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
Professor Dr Md Abu Jafar, director-general of the Directorate General of Health Services, bid farewell to him at the airport.
Professor Dr Badrul Alam, Joint Director of the National Institute of Neurosciences and Hospital, informed that Murad has been sent to Vejthani Hospital in Thailand for robotic physiotherapy and rehabilitation.
On 18 November, the government also sent a student named Mohammad Kajol Mia, who was critically injured during the mass uprising, to Thailand's Vejthani Hospital.
