Earlier, sports journalists protested the harassment and detention of Rozina Islam at Bangabandhu National Stadium after the Bangladesh football team's practice session.
Rozina Islam was taken to Shahbagh Police Station around 8:30 pm yesterday after being detained at the health ministry in the Secretariat for five hours. She wasn't hospitalised despite falling ill. Rozina Islam was taken to jail after a Dhaka court turned down a plea to take her on remand.
