Mild to morderate heatwave likely to continue
Day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country
Mild to moderate heat wave is sweeping over Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna and Barishal divisions and it may continue, said Met office on Thursday.
The heat wave is also sweeping over the districts of Sitakundu, Chandpur, Noakhali, Feni & Srimangal, Bangladesh Meteorological Department (BMD) said in a regular bulletin.
Weather may remain mainly dry elsewhere over the country, BMD said.

Besides, rain, thunder showers accompanied by temporary gusty/squally wind is likely to occur at a few places over Mymensingh and Sylhet divisions in next 24 hourd commencing from 6 pm on Thursday.
Rain may also occure at one or two places over Dhaka, Rangpur and Rajshahi divisions and the regions of Jessore and Cumilla, BMD said.
Trough of westerly low lies over West Bengal and adjoining area, extending its trough upto North Bay, Met office stated adding that day and night temperature may remain nearly unchanged over the country.
